A short while ago - we began eating supper and watching a musical with our granddaughters on Sunday evening. It came about because Molly is so enamoured with High School Musical and we wanted to expand her horizons. Choosing a musical is very easy to do because the Library has such a wonderful media collection. Thank you Terri!
I remembered - as we watched My Fair Lady - that the story is based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and I shared that information with the girls.
And I share this today because of how fortunate we all are to have here in Hartford this extraordinary asset, our public library. Thank you all for being part of learning opportunity.

I love "My Fair Lady"! Great choice. You can also do more fun campy musicals when they get older like "Rock and Roll High School".
